MINNESOTA

Our Programs

We help Minnesotans age 55 and better enrich their lives by helping others through our Foster Grandparent, Senior Companion and RSVP Programs.

Foster Grandparent Program

Foster Grandparent volunteers provide one-on-one attention to children most at risk in schools, shelters, correctional facilities, and early childhood centers. Volunteers help children improve reading and math skills, behavior, and their well-being by providing consistent support and encouragement.

Senior Companion Program

Senior Companion volunteers provide assistance and friendship to frail and isolated individuals who wish to remain living in their own homes. Volunteers often provide essential non-medical assistance, respite support and transportation for older adults.

RSVP Program

The RSVP program connects volunteers with opportunities to promote positive change and meet critical needs in their communities. Depending on the needs of their community, volunteers make life better for their neighbors by working in food shelves, delivering meals to home-bound individuals, providing income tax preparation assistance, disaster relief, home building, healthy initiatives and so much more.
